I recently went through a “rough patch”, in my life, and I too needed a companion. After moving into my new residence, I began searching for a minature poodle. Last October, I found my pal, Cisco, at the Southside Animal Shelter. He came with very little information. He is about 2 1/2 years old, and is house trained. We couldn’t be a better match, he is with me at all times, and very loving. I have been blessed!

Rescued dogs know when they are given a second chance. Thank you for giving her that chance. Be sure to let others know she was rescued so that more people may realize that there is nothing wrong with most shelter dogs. They just need a chance to show you.

My wife gave me a Mi-Ki 2 yrs ago, There were 5 puppies and this one kept returning to us , kissing us , and stole our hearts. She goes everywhere I go , sleeps in the small of my back and has taught me to communicate with her. It took her a week to train me. I have made a considerable amount of money and used it to buy expensive boy toys. Since having Keira (my mi-ki) I lost intrest in ” stuff” . I can’t look at her without smiling and feeling warmth in my heart.She gives the rarest of all gifts, “unconditional love”. She doesn’t see me as old or suffering the slings and arrows of advancing age . She sees my eyes and the incredible love I have for her in my heart. She is the happiest little girl I have ever known. One very perceptive friend of mine commented,” I hope she outlives you “. Once materialistic , I have become puppyistic. Fortunately I have these same feeling for my wife.

My favorite town out of all Ive been to, no doubt about it that its Lugano Swiss. Switzerland is one of the best skiing areas. Something I absolutely obsess about, it is calm and comforting.

Hey Amy! Sorry, I just saw this. I have washed them before and they come out ok. I dry on top of the dryer (while drying other things so the heat drys it a little quicker). However they only tend to survive a few washes so be careful to watch for threads coming loose or tearing as you definitely don’t want to be out on a walk and have one come apart!

Since we have adopted her son Sirius, we have also adopted another son from a different litter, Black Nite. Now we have the three of them happy as could be, and together like a family should be!! Adopt a greyhound, they deserve to quit running for their lives!!
